Application for Transfer Admission

Applications for transfer admissions (Secondary 1 to Secondary 4) are accepted throughout the year. However, admission is subject to the availability of vacant places at our school.

The application form can be downloaded here or collected in person at the General Office.

 

Notes

1.    This application form is distributed free of charge.

 

2.    Please complete the application form in either Chinese or English and return it in person to the school office.

 

3.    When submitting the application form, please provide photocopies of the following documents prior to the written assessment:

 

(i)        Student’s Hong Kong Identity Card

(ii)      Student’s recent examination report and other certificates (if any)

(iii)      Recommendation letter (if any)

(iv)      Baptism certificate (if the student is a Catholic)

(v)       One recent photo of the student (to be pasted on the application form)

4.    Written Assessment

Applicants will be informed by phone of the date and time of the written assessment.

5.    Interview

Applicants who pass the written assessment will be invited to attend an interview.

6.    The applicant must understand that the receipt of the applicant’s information and the conducting of the written assessment and interview by the school do not mean the application is successful, and the school has NO obligation to offer a school place to the applicant. A school place will only be offered if the school is satisfied with the performance of the applicant AND after the information provided is proved valid, with the consent of the Hong Kong Education Bureau.

 

7.    Statement of Purpose for the Collection of Personal Data

Purpose of Collection:
The personal data provided in this application form will be used by St. Francis Xavier’s School, Tsuen Wan solely for the purpose of processing transfer admission applications.

Access to Personal Data:
In accordance with Sections 18 and 22, and Data Protection Principle 6 of Schedule 1 of the Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance (Cap. 486), applicants have the right to request access to and correction of their personal data. This right includes the provision of a copy of the personal data held by the school.
